Ingrediants
1 onion
3 carrots
4 peppers
2 level table spoons plain flour
1/4 pint white wine vinegar
Can chopped tomatoes
1 table spoon Worcestershire sauce
2 table spoons honey / 2 oz sugar
Salt and pepper
Small can pineapples
Method
- Chop the onion, peel and chop the carrots, de-seed and chop the peppers
- Blend the flour, white wine vinegar and tomatoes and put into pan
- Gently bring to boil adding the honey, salt & pepper
- Add the carrots, onion and peppers then boil for 10 mins
- Add the pineapples near the end
- You cab add cooked pork or chicken at the pineapple stage, an excellent way of using 'left-overs'
- Substitue the vegetables as you wish
- The exact quantities of white wine vinegar to honey/sugar can be varied for personal taste
- If desparate, use ordinary vinegar but it's not as tasty.
